Melanie Walch 

Changing people's life - making them smile!

This is the philosophy that started Melanie's journey as a dental technologist in 2010 in Germany.

In 2010, digital dentistry had started to attract attention, but was not present in many labs. After her successful training, she worked at a dental practice as a dental technologist. This shaped her understanding of the Technician - Dentist - Patient relationship.  In 2015, she worked as a Product Specialist supporting a computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing (CAD CAM) system.

In 2016, Melanie moved to Kenya, which gave her a new perspective into the digital dental market on an international level. She worked with several CAD CAM laboratories in Nairobi, where she extensively developed her capacity and expertise in CAD CAM systems. She worked closely with dentists, ensuring the highest quality of work from the beginning to the end of cases. This experience showed the importance of good design and quality service delivery, when determining the quality of the product.

In 2017, she incorporated Simba Smile Limited, to provide quality tailor-made and affordable dental appliances.
